Hello so I'm extremely confused considering I've been watching videos on this all week and checking as well as asking around seeming to all be the same answers if I needed the pin to stop my exhaust rattle..... Upon looking at it didn't quite seem right and after taking off the actuator I'm even more confused PLEASE HELP
Everything seems tight and in place I have no idea why this is happening at this point or where this bracket would even go

The rattle from the exhaust I was trying to fix it did a bunch of research and after take the part off it's completely different than anything I found

So your conclusion was that the rattle was coming from the valved exhaust? What led you to that?

My thinking was if nothing else the part will be a new one if I replace it
Found a diagram for the part number and got it BUT I guess my exhaust is different? And I'm having troubles even finding similar pictures to what I'm looking at rn

Mmk, yeah. Looking up pictures right now and it does look like yours has a different system. What year is yours?
