Touch up paint

My car (2019 Honda Passport) had a decently sized rock chip on the hood which I’ve been wanting to touch up. What stores sell/are recommended for a touch up pen (obsidian blue pearl)

Paint code is B588

Off the shelf a general auto parts store might have it but I’m not confident for that color

I’ve used these guys before for uncommon factory paint vehicles and never had any issues with the paint matching or quality of the touch up

Does the paint last or is it something I’ll have to touch up every few months?

I’ve had mine for 8 months? Had no issues through Indiana winters and road salt and it’s on my rear bumper, no issues with it staying on

Yeah the ones here aren’t nearly as bad thankfully but it’s held up to the winters and being hit with a pressure washer

I’m just worried because it’s right on the front of the hood where it curves

If you want to really make sure it’ll last you can always sand down the area, paint it and then put clear over it. Since it’s just a rock chip though the touch up will likely suffice and not have any issues
