Zak is right😂 but @wicked delta as youre in germany make sure that the things you do the car has tüv or other necessary approvals so police cant do anything about your car being low and make sure they know that you manual swapped it. Having your car on a lift for weeks is one thing, but police having your car is way worse

for german cars its usually Ta technix on the cheaper end, on the higher end KW or H&r

then for an exhaust for exhaust there is eisenmann, supersprint, Bn Pipes, Friedrich motorsport and well also ta technix on the lower end

ive been looking for a few turbo kits, just for fun

so a generic ebay turbo kit is like 1k, thats fine but then i have to do the tüv and all, i would be at 6-8k at the end and thats if it even passes

then there is a turbokit for 5.5k wich aleready got a certificate from tüv and it only works with an SRS exhaust

Yeah, I feel you. with the D16Y7, it’s tricky without cracking it open. You’re right, turbocharged engines usually have lower compression. That’s part of the reason they can handle more boost, but it also limits how high you can go without issues. So yeah, it might hold you back if you’re aiming for massive power

You should be able to get parts from an ej8, another ej6 coupe since yours is one, and an em1. If you want to swap the rear brakes for teggy brakes you can get trailing arms from an em1, or any 4 lug 94-01 teggy

so i might be able to get away with it with a smaller wheel and maybe some small mods to the doorcard
