#Acion tc 2009 key fob programed but buttons don't work.

As title says. Got a new fob. Programmed it. Car turns on. However the buttons don't work. Red light on the fob flashes when I press the buttons but they don't do anything. No lock, unlock, panic. None of those buttons work. Yes I replaced the battery.
