Why are you in particular choosing these cars? Why Mazda in particular? If you're doing heavy city driving I'd definitely recommend a hybrid vehicle of some sort.

If you dont want that LS430 give it to me lmao! Anyways Toyota hybrids are especially reliable. There are plenty of first gen priuses on the road with the original battery.
Lexus/Toyota are the most highly regarded for reliability and longevity, much more so than other brands.
Even if they sit and "drain" the engine will recharge the battery. I promise it'll be okay man!
If youre doing lots of city driving just grab a corolla hybrid or prius! You'll do absolutely no wrong with those
Camry is right in the middle go with that one. What didn't you like about the prius or corolla, lack of power?
If they're new enough trim doesn't matter as long as its got Bluetooth in my opinion
