I’ve got this buzzing sound you can hear coming fro
The back. Can hear it inside car but isn’t loud. Doesn’t get louder when I drive. Car runs fine no issues there. I’m leaning towards the fuel filter or a pressure regulator

That is the fuel pump. It sounds normal

A friend if mine has a 540 as well and he never seems to hear this from the outside or inside

The pump is only running when the engine is running

It sounds louder than I’d expect it to be. At a minimum if you don’t know when the fuel filter was last replaced, it’s worth doing (assuming this car has an inline fuel filter, I believe it does).
