So yesterday I noticed the guage wasn't reading the temp, upto yesterday it worked fine with no problems, I've never had an overheating issue so continued my long drive. I'm assuming it could just be an old sensor needing replacement??

Is it just staying on the cold position as if the car has been shut off for days and it’s basically at ambient temp?
