Hi i just bought this car and sometimes ehen the car is cold
It does this weird friction sound when i start it if anyone has any guess ill take it

This is with door open im not holding the key in or anything just normal start clutch all the way engaged everything is normal, it does it only when its really cold outside I think. doesn’t do it each time

Are you holding the key to long to start the car?

Sounds like the starter is staying engaged. Could it be stuck out because it’s very cold? It’s a possibility.
