Hello, I have been in the market for a used 2020/2021 C43. I am in LOVE with the car, the looks and the performance. I cant seem to find one that fits my budget though, so I have opened up to looking at different cars and I like the Audi S4 too. Anyone would be able to tell me how reliable the S4 is in comparison to C43, how they hold value, and how expensive they are to repair? Both 2021 cars with 30k miles.

I would entice you to look at a 2019 or 2020 C43 as the price difference vs 2021 is drastic
S4 will be lower/similar maintenance cost. C43 will be higher because dealership maintenance on AMG checks more things than audis and also they just need more maintenance
Just know when u buy the C43 you are getting objectively better interior, you already said you love how it looks, and objectively way better performance and it comes stock with a performance exhaust (Audi doesn’t, needs additional $3k USD to even match that)
If I were u, I’d pull the trigger on a 2019 or 2020 if u can find a good price. Only difference between these years is that 2020 has the AMG Drive Unit (the nobs on steering wheel to change TC, agility selection etc. literally just cosmetic)

Both will have similar repair costs and similar depreciation. What you want to do is get behind the wheel of both of them, back to back. You’ll notice something about one or the other that will make it stand out more than any spec sheet or theoretical comparison will tell you. Buy the one you enjoy and have fun with it!

Yeah you might even just buy an S4 because the suspension on the C43 is really tough
