#2008 LR3 Land Rover caliper leaking

That’s a bleeder valve. Use a small wrench to tighten it. But, you’ll want to bleed your brakes first.
It still leaks after doing all that??
Maybe we didn’t bleed the breaks enough or could it be a bad caliper
Does it get tight ever or does it just keep spinning when you try to tighten it?
Don’t need to go nuts on the torque, I set mine to 10Nm
Ok yep, time to have wherever you got that caliper deal with the warranty.
Okay just to let you know brakes weren’t bleed completely so we blew a brake line
But that no biggie
So is the leak form the broken line or from the bleeder valve?
What I’m hearing is that the bleeder valve leaks even when it’s tightened up, but help us to understand what you mean by blew a brake line?
Sorry for the late response but me and my dad never changed a caliper and didn’t know we had to really tighten the bladder valve but then when we did it right I hit the breaks one more time to see if it still leaks and then all the sudden on the one rusty part of our break line we blew a whole in it
GG @obsidian herald, you just advanced to level 2! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
Our truck if the breaks don’t work does not let you go into any gear and when we fixed the breaks for like 10 seconds we were able to shift everything so we just gonna pay 200$ to get the one part of the break line cut and redone
