My Hyundai I30 N Line has been experiencing a issue for a while now where the car shudders when setting off and when moving up a slope for example when exiting a car park, the car is external jittery like it has sudden jolts of energy but then as soon as i release the accelerator the car suddenly jolts down in speed. I'm wondering if someone here can give me a possible diagnostic into possible issues

This should be covered under the powertrain warranty, shouldn’t it?
I'm not sure actually
i'm more interested in knowing what could be causing it cause like the diagnostics cost is so expensive here
So it sounds like a couple clutches DCT isn’t engaging and disengaging properly. Sometimes it’s a software bug and can be fixed if Hyundai has published a revised flash. Sometimes it’s a “take apart the transmission and fix what’s broken” kind of job, unfortunately.
How much would this cost usually?
Couple grand at least right
Yep. That’s why I am encouraging to invoke the warranty, or at least confirm if you’re still under warranty.
If the shuddering doesn't bother me, is it still important to get it fixed? Or can i keep driving it
GG @pulsar ravine, you just advanced to level 2! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
I just don't want my car to blow up lol, gonna pass the car to my mum in like 2 years anyways
If you don’t mind me asking, why not just make Hyundai fix it? Without a proper diagnosis, anything we say is going to be speculation.
Cause it's prob gonna be pricey if warranty doesn't cover it
