Engine turns on then off immediately

Sup guys. I have a Honda fit 2008, who has suddenly started giving me a lot of trouble. Had her for a couple years and she worked wonderfully, until she started overheating over and over again, to the point where i’ve had to fix the head gasket twice.

Now onto the issue: My car now is turning on with low power, makes some weird sounds, then shuts off but keeps lights on and everything. Then i have to turn it off, and it’ll turn on just fine. I plan to take it to the shop this next week but I am not a car expert whatsoever and I’ve been taking it to the same shop for years, but something tells me they’ve not been very honest with me about previous issues, because of what has followed after them.

Guess I just wanted the opinion of people who know, please let me know what it could be, cus I have no idea.

hey have you checked your alternator? The overheating issue could be your radiator or your fan

yeah ice replaced the radiator twice. first time was when the head gasket was blown (OG radiator was musty and deteriorated) and the second time was because streets were flooded and it got pierced by something on the road that i didn’t see. that’s when the issues started again that led to another overheat that ultimately made me have to replace head gasket again from it overheating again
