I really like this car I ran into this abandoned 1987 RX-7 FC gxl earlier today and I was wondering if I should buy it. its been abandoned since 1995 and has 200k miles, no battery but I was told it started a few months ago. I was thinking I could rebuild or replace the engine or do a swap after I repaint. hes asking 2750 firm. they have a title but its a salvage certificate. it runs off starting fluid. is there enough aftermarket parts for this car to build it into something nice. I have some brand new 19 inch advan gt beyond rims I feel like would look good on this car if it fits. overall its a beautiful car I think it just needs some love, im 18 so im less knowledgeable than some of you, it has a "salvage certificate" let me know what you guys think because I dont know anyone knowledgeable about these specific cars and rotarys thanks. I also need opinions for if the chassis is alright, and if it is will I be able to clean all the rust off.
