Been tryna teach myself enough about my car to fix it myself. The spark plugs aren't firing. I've changed the spark plugs (which didnt seem necessary in retrospect). I tried to test the continuity from the cables that power the control module -> coil pack -> spark plugs, and it seemed to me that the control module has power moving through it, but the coil pack isn't. I replaced the coil pack, it's still not starting.

I'm thinking now that I may not be testing the wires properly? Attached is an image of the plug that enters the control module. Only the bottom pin in this image lights my tester when the car is on. Should the others be lighting as well?

Good testing. Is this one coil or four coils?

It’s possible/probable the ECU isn’t telling the coil to fire. Any trouble codes if you hit it with a code scanner? Do you see the tach move when you crank it?
