Hello,

I need the datasheet that includes the pinout of the Prius 2009 steering sensor model 89245-48020 for a modification project of mine. I couldn’t find it anywhere, so thought maybe an enthusiast can help.

If that’s only a couple wires, can you test them with a multimeter to see what the outputs are?

slowly trying to find the info, does this connector look like it would fit? (photo’d)

if there are 7 pins then i’d know if im getting closer on finding what you want

this shows 7 pins on a 10 pin connector, i got diagram info for a 06’ prius so just gotta find the part in that

so far from what i understand, 1pin is powered on ignition, 1 at all times (maybe), 2 CAN pins, and 2 to the EPS

I’m pretty sure a steering wheel sensor is an encoder

tried to send link for pdf and had some text to go with it about how to find what you might be looking for but gonna have to wait for mods to review the link

so we’ll see, might not find another mod for a few hours cuz i’ll be doing stuff soon (one mod rejected even checking so far i think)
