could i get a hand with my codes I'm not sure what to do for most of them

A lot of these could be related to a battery issue. What’s the history on this thing - did you just get it or you’ve had it a while? Did it just start doing this all of a sudden? Are there any driveability symptoms? Has this been converted to a stretch limo or is this a normal town car used for limo service? Where I’m headed with that question is if it has a normal town car electrical system or if they’ve done anything like a second battery or second alternator.

You can ignore all of this for now

#

Low voltage codes are probably just stored and incorrect speed signal is probably that wheel speed sensor

#

The main codes to focus on are the ones from the pcm

#

Does it run poorly?

My perspective - iron out the electrical system first. Whatever batteries and alternators are in there, should all be independently tested and I bet you find at least one that’s not up to snuff, maybe more. Once those are fixed and the car is getting proper voltage, clear codes and see what comes back.

Converted to stretch may be a concern - that means the wiring harness has been modified too; which introduces a high probability of electrical gremlins as a result, if the modified section of harness is compromised.

Ok I will need to take a look at that and get back to you

even if the vehicle wasnt built by a qualified manfuacturer(which is a separate problem), it shouldnt create issues like the ones your experiencing, i would check the usuals and run down the line with diagnostics, misfire codes, spark plugs, coils, injectors, compression, timing.

#

for the system too lean bank 1 and 2, it may be caused by the misfire but there is a tsb for cleaning the mass air flow sensor when system too lean is presenting

Thank you for the information I will look into it when I have some time and get back to you

# jolly kayak How could I find out?

There should be a modified vehicle capacity sticker from the modifier showing the new tire sizes, tire pressures, seating capacity and it should state who the manufacturer was and that they conformed the vehicle to USA federal motor vehicle safety standards

Tiffany ah, they are a qualified vehicle manufacturer so that shouldn’t be the problem

jolly kayak
#

I hoping to test and fix some of the problems tomorrow

It looks like my battery and my alternator is good so I’m thinking there’s something drawing from the battery the car dies on me after so long of not driving it 7 or more hours I wanna say

Someone mentioned to me that the door ajar code on the dash could be part of the problem but I don’t really know how to fix that problem

Yep. It’s probably keeping the interior lights on, etc.

jolly kayak
#

The interior light haven’t been going on since I got it I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks I haven’t looked to see if or where I can turn the lights on and off for the interior

pure citrus
#

Fair enough, but it’s still keeping something electrical alive that ordinarily would turn off

jolly kayak
#

Ya for sure hopefully I can find a solution

I’d expect a 98-02 town car, crown Vic, or grand marquis to use that sensor. Scrapyard maybe? Also try something like ford parts giant
