I need help on what type of lug nuts these are called? the silver ones, they’re both the exact same lug nut sizes but somehow the black ones I had on my 5x114.3 flew my tire off, I don’t know why ?

The black ones are overall narrower, and the rims you have have a slightly wider than stock opening for the wheel stud holes, so they slipped off over the black wheel lugs. You want conical seat lug nuts if my eyes don’t deceive me. Hope the wheel coming off didn’t cause any harm - that can be terrifying.

So conical seat lug nuts ? 12x1.25? Do u have any reference photos of which ones u recommend? Cause the acorn black ones I sent above should have a ring like that when put on right?

the one on the right are oem lug nuts

which u most likely cannot use on ur aftermarket wheels

if your conical lug nuts flew off i would check the threads on your studs
