Hey guys I just joined the server because my dad told me that he wants to find his old car and really wants to buy it back and i needed to find people who would be able to help me find the car because im having a hard time finding it online anywhere. can anyone dm me or start a voice call to help me try and figure this out

its a 1985 porsche 930 911 turbo

everytime i think i find it, its either sold or has the wrong color interior

Who knows if it’s even for sale. Most likely dude that it was sold to has kept it.

We probably can’t help, but there exist a few Porsche registries. Thats the starting point. Find a Porsche club in your area, explain what you’re doing, they’ll have a good idea of where to get started. Having said that, a few complications. 1, it’ll be much faster if your dad had a VIN. We don’t need it but that will be a critical piece of info. 2, 930 turbos are $$$$$ now. Look at comparable values for similar 930 turbo models in that era cost. Make sure it’s the realm of a number he’s ok with.

If he still has the original vin there’s a possibility he could run it through the registry and find out the cars history and where it’s ended up

For what it’s worth, the cheapest 80-89 911 turbo I can find is $140k. Your dad is ready for that level of pricing?

Also, there do exist car headhunters. They don’t work for free but if you can’t find anything that’s always an option.
