Alright so I made a post a while back talking about how my 95 camry wasn't starting. That was a couple of months ago and I've spent even more time working on this car now trying to figure out why it still won't start. I checked fuel pressure directly and checked that fuel was spraying from the empty cylinders so I know for a fact that I have good fuel. I checked spark on every plug and replaced the distributor so I know for a fact that I have good spark. After replacing the distributor I decided, why not, lets redo the timing as well. So, I got a professional mechanic friend of mine to come over and we re did the timing only to find out it was 180 degrees out. We fixed it, went through each stroke of each cylinder making sure to measure piston height each time and I'm 99% sure we didn't mess anything up. Also checked cylinder compression and it was around 145psi in each cylinder. Even took out the fuel pump relay to make sure the plugs weren't over saturated with fuel and couldn't light anything. So, good spark, good fuel, good timing, good compression and it still won't start. It won't even start with starting fluid. I have absolutely no clue what else it could be. Like how is there a spark and it's not lighting starting fluid. At this point I'm desperate just to get the thing running at all so I can sell it. Any ideas at all would be appreciated.

Some background on the vehicle. Bought it last year in October, had to replace cv axles, shocks, thermostat, water pump, timing belt, harmonic balancer, stuff like that. (In the process of trying to fix the car recently we went back and checked all that stuff to make sure we did it right.) After we did some stuff to it it had a couple of issue like not starting sometimes and when it did it would idle very rough (surging idle) like the timing was off but I needed the car so I though nothing of it. The issues hadn't come up for a couple weeks so I thought it was fine then suddenly is just stopped starting all together.

I’m guessing this is OBD1, which makes data a bit more challenging. I’d suspect a crank position sensor based on symptoms described
