About 1-2 days after washing the engine, I started experiencing misfires in cylinder 2, but only under load, specifically when hitting around 3500+ RPM with about 20-30% throttle. The car runs smoothly without misfires when driven gently without pushing it.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Replaced all spark plugs and coils
Changed the injector in cylinder 2
Performed an oil service and installed a new battery
Replaced the engine mount on the driver's side
Conducted a compression test which showed good results
Despite these changes, the misfire in cylinder 2 persists. I even tried relocating the plugs and coils, but the problem remains. Any insights or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
