I was looking for a front and rear dashcam and I have some questions. How does the rear dash cam work? Where would it be plugged to? Also, why do they offer different GB options if they say unlimited cloud storage? If the cloud storage is unlimited why would I care how much GB the SD card has?

You only need storage for footage you decide to save right? I don't see why someone would need 128gb of storage if you're only saving footage when you have an accident

The last thing i would think about in an accident is to quickly sing up for a cloud storage.

Got it. But when is storage actually used? When I'm driving and the camera is running no storage is being used right? Only if I decide to save something then the storage will be used correct?

You’ll have a hardwire kit that connects to your fuse box. It often has a cutoff when the voltage hits a certain level to prevent your battery being killed. I have my dashcam on Timelapse mode when the car is off and it’s been doing fine for years
