Engine light for a EVAP Code and by the sounds of it a faulty starter?

Car chugs every start up, especially when warm or been running for a while. You can hear the starter spinning but not always engaging and sometimes just spins with no engagement at all.

Car dash lights flicker when it doesn’t catch but tries to, people tell me it’s a evap fuel leak or something that’s not starting my car and the starter is fine tho?

Need opinions.

Doubt the issues are correlated. From what it sounds a weak battery is probably the cause for your starter issues.

You need to be more specific about the EVAP code.
