I'd defo go for the Octavia, overall bigger, better for every day use. It's the EA888 engine so i'd say those are fairly reliable

Just the casual stuff, mostly leaks since these are too new to rust. Also go for a tes ride and check if the DSG (if you're getting an auto) is smooth enough, no rough shifts nothing
