Get something else

#

That is just a waste of money imo. Wouldn’t spend a dime on that chassis

#

Like let me list the 3 main problems with going with this car

#

1st: it’s a fwd economy car; it is not built for speed. Fwd cars in general were designed with being economical cars. When you get up in power; they develop torque steer (which is not fun). Also being fwd they have a tendency to have understeer which you don’t want.

2nd: it’s cost quite a shit ton of money to build an engine for power and reliability if it is built for economic purposes. My r34 had an rb25de in it; NA, and has variable valve timing. The engine needed an rb26dett head swap, which I decided to have a brand new upgraded valve train put in it; that alone without the bottom was 10k with machine shop prices put into it. The bottom end of the block I ordered new pistons and rods to combat the stock compression ratio and change the litreage slightly with oversized pistons. Also doing other stuff to refresh the block which I can go into depth if you want. I would also like to bring up transmissions; as you will need a new upgrade for power. My engine is being built for 700hp but the transmission will only be able to hold 550hp; and with that, you will also need a new driveshaft and dif. With mounting and transmission to my built engine and all the costs of my engine; I am gonna be down 20-25k cad.

3rd: it’s a fucking accord. Such a waste of money to mod that thing. No point also; are you going to keep this car forever? Or sell it and lose all the money you put into it? Only mod a car if you are set on keeping it.

as an accord owner, an expert, all you need to do is hellcat swap it from your driveway with a chrisfix tutorial

#

you should have it done in no more than 5-6 years.
