1999 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas

Ive checked backseat passenger side fuse #14, and there was no fuse in the slot. I know these models are known for having owners manuals that have incorrect info, but this was the fuse it stated. I replaced it with a 25amp fuse, which didnt fit (wouldn't click in, slid right out.)

First thing I was told was "Your going to have electrical problems buying a jaguar" and damn they were right lol

Pic of the slot for the fuse? Wonder if the metal contacts inside are bent?

Also. Even though I don’t think yours has them, plenty of good jokes about the electrical jankiness. Lucas Electrics: get home before dark!
