Also it increases in speed and volume the higher I have so I’m thinking it’s something in the engine.
2007 G35 coupe 6 manual clicking sound.
Think I narrowed it down to where it’s coming from. Sounds like it’s coming from that area where the black rectangular box is. (Edited) found out it’s called the abs pump.
So it doesn't do it in neutral?
Thing is abs operates independantly of the engine so it shouldn't be faster and louder if you rev it higher
Does it disappear after a couple of miles of driving?
It does it in neutral too, most of the time it stays.
According to a G35 forum it could be silicone in your heater core
Either way - I'd take it to a mechanic
Get that bitch flushed out
I read that somewhere too recentyl. I'll go ahead and give that a shot.
Aight good luck mate
Is your heat on when this sound is made?
Have not been paying attention if my heat is on when this happens, I'll try to leave it off and see.
Taking it in this weekend to get it flushed, and it comes and goes like today on my commute never made a sound and when it did I put the clutch in and revved it out like twice and it went away.

UPDATE: Solved ✅
It’s my ac compressor going on and off when it’s in auto mode. Dealer checked and my coolant and everything is not needed for flushing.
I can get it replaced but ima leave it and not use the auto mode. Since everything basically still works perfectly.
Great!
Thx for commenting on the post too y’all
