#ball joints and control arms

It’s just a matter if they are part of the assembly as one part or if the ball joint is removable to be replaced.
You would know right away by looking at the lower control arm. In my experience most upper control arms have the ball joint built on, meaning you need to replace the control arm.
Looking on RockAuto, it seems that the lower ball joint is replaceable.
RockAuto ships auto parts and body parts from over 300 manufacturers to customers' doors worldwide, all at warehouse prices. Easy to use parts catalog.
Have you ever replaced your control arms before? You might be better just replacing the control arms with new ones since the bushings all around are probably bad.
i did lower ball joints on my 2008 i was able to replace them
you need to take off alot though to get to it or else you wont be able to get the tool in
however, they aren't technically serviceable so if u bring it somewhere they will just replace the the whole control arm but it is possible to do just the ball joints based off experience
ohhh okok
how did it go
