Get a Toyota Camry/Corolla or a Honda Civic/Accord. Don't ask anything else, as it is a commonly asked question and interrupts conversations.
short answer, no, it's a terrible first car
It's very very expensive to repair and not all that reliable
So unless you have money to toss into a trash can labeled "bad life decisions" no do not buy this car
please dont buy your car to "show off". make it practical for yourself
I’ve had a neighbor of mine who daily one and he said it was a dependable vehicle. However, he owned the chilton manual for repairs to work on his car
He also said that if he didn’t work on his own Porsche, he couldn’t afford to own it.
Don't listen to these cowards.
Boxsters are expensive to repair, yes. They are also not easy to work on, yes. They are also not the thing you're gonna rely on once repaired, yes. It's also the hair dresser's Porsche, yes.
HOWEVER, all of that can be fixed by simply removing the junky Porsche stuff and building something new! You'll learn things those guys above would never dream of trying, and you'll end up with something way more fun as a result. I did it with mine and have never regretted it.
im just trying to help financal wise, but if you look at it like that, sure go ahead and buy it
He's asking about a first car lmao
if you think an old porsche as a first car is a good idea
you're either delusional or have fuck ton of time, money or both
tbh the porsche boxster is a disgrace to the porsche brand
get something you can work on
The only thing you can't work on is the thing you're afraid to touch.
yea youre not wrong
