Got this chevy back in march of last year, a whole list of problems came with it
Almost entire suspension is brand new now (front and back)
Rack and pinion is also brand new
All work was done at home
A click happens when the steering wheel is turned all the way left and right (only once though, and if I let it sit for a bit it'll happen again)
Thought it could be the rack and pinion being worn out, so we replaced it and click still happened. With the suspension being all new I cant think of anything else other than the alignment looking so far off that could cause it
The Left lower control arm on the front is pushed out while the right one is pushed in (the corresponding tie rod ends are also vastly different from one another)
before doing any work the original control arms and tie rod ends where pretty much the same on both sides, and it drove straight and without any drifting, then a bunch of noises happened and things broke so we replaced it all and now every alignment place we go too sets them so far off from what the original was
I've thought that it may be a bad front end alignment (I've taken it five times now)
All the times before make sense that is wasn't aligned cause the rear upper control arms where completely snaped in half (that was fixed before the most recent alignment)
The last front end alignment did not change a single thing with the way it drives (wheel is turned to about 11:00 when driving straight and it pulls to the right when letting go of the wheel)
I looked under and the car and the control arms look in the exact same spots as before and the threads on the tie rod ends also look the exact same as when I installed them before the alignment
(is that how the tie rod ends and control arms should be and could a bad front end alignment be causing a clicking when turning the wheel to its ends)
