my engine light came on about a week ago, this my 2020 mustang ecoboost, had it for 2 almost 3 years and this the first time this happens, can i fix it myself or should i bring it to a dealership, i’ve been looking on youtube but i can’t seem the find what i’m looking for, help

You can either buy an OBD2 scanner and read the error yourself, or go to a mechanic and let him plug a computer to your car, you'll know from there. In my country (poland) the price for checking an engine light is from 50pln to 250pln (12eu - 55eu) so it's not a lot.
Check engine lights error can mean a lot of things, from things as simple as bad spark plugs to things as serious as engine misfire...

as of rn the problem i see id having are whenever i put gas in the car and i turn it back one it starts making a noise, and sometimes it doesn’t turn on, im planning on taking it to the dealership tomorrow to have it check out, thank you

they said the engine light was caused by verified concern found evap purge valve sticking and active grill shutters internal fault
they installed a hose -fuel vapor and a shutter asy, replaced active grill shutters and evap purge.
charged me 1000 for labor work which i dont think it shouold be that much since it wasnt much going on but again idk im not a mechanic
