I am pretty sure it calculated on a piston engine by the deepest stroke displacement number of each piston, which are all added together to get the total displacement. On a rotary, it would be the same thing. Deepest stroke displacement of both or how ever many modules are being used.

So it’s a 2 rotor 1.3 litre meaning .65 litres per rotary module.
