My gf's 2001 mk1 focus (5mt 1.6 100hp petrol) has had very high fuel consumtion lately, i've also noticed a louder/lower sound from the exhaust (an exhaust leak or a problem of its own?), Theres no CEL, engine temps are normal, says the rpm also drops faster sometimes and the power starts to stutter at 3k rpm 5th gear when the temp is at running temp.
