GG @fallen hinge, you just advanced to level 13! Chat more to level up and earn top roles!
battery should be under warranty
have it checked
might just need a charge
reasons for battery drain:
- something left on
- closed circuit current draw
- charging system (alternator) problems
@grand mountain would that be something stored in the engine codes? Guessing no but doesn’t hurt to ask
no
Bc it drove fine when I went home from work like 6 hours ago
@grand mountain I was reading it could be a misfire but it don’t have the CEL when I drove home
I don’t see a flashing cel
I would say emissions readiness monitors not set (because of dead battery)
my car has that feature
How do I fix that
it’ll fix itself
How long til that happens
usually a number of drive cycles
nothing to worry about unless cel comes on with the engine running
Drive cycles? As in driving it?
yes
How do I drive it when it’s no start no cranking
fix that first
Yes but if it’s bc of that then how is it fixed
Bc if I have to drive it for the readiness to reset but the car isn’t starting bc of it
The readiness isn’t an issue
fix the battery issue and the emissions monitors will set when you drive
where did you get the battery from
take it back and have them charge it or replace it
Try jump starting your car
family have cables?
Yea but they’re in Washington
And it’ll be easier for a jump pack bc I’m parked in a car port
@grand mountain something of this sort
that or take the battery out and ride with a buddy
@grand mountain
It was just how it is when I bought it
I just didn’t care
It’s a manual so that’s why I think they did
how’d you start it
Jump pack
from what
Multimeter
vacuum leak I mean
Idk if it is a vacuum leak
