I use car guys plastic restorer. Two heavy coats but make sure it's fairly even. You will have to reapply a couple times a year depending how much UV it sees.
You could also sand, paint and clear coat it. Might help it last longer than just the plastic.
yeh like joshy said you do a decent job itl last i did my center console piece on my mustang when i had it. pic for reference
this pic was 3rd year after i painted it. held up good. the piece was originally grey as the stripe above on dash
dominion sure seal is what i used with a clear coat
Yep probably the best way to do it, plus if it is no textured and there is a scratch u could put filler in it and paint over it.
Doing that for my window wiper/front window plastic cover piece on my r34 since I scratched it a bit pulling the rb out.
pre much what i did split in 2 so i had to glue it back together hense the paint, never see the crack if done right
Nice bro
Hoping to get good results too so wish me luck
u wont get it first try if ur filling a seam u gotta play with the filler till u get er right
Ya ik, I am gonna try my best though. Have quite a bit of a experience with sanding so I hope I do well.
yeah its not hard just tedious
Thanks, do u have any pic for how it looks after using it
But do you think it will be fine with the hot and humid weather, especially Im not using it for interior
i used it in a convertible top was down 90 percent of the time. ull be fine for exterior.
Just use a trim restorer it's 99% less work. You can use a ceramic based one if you want longer lifespan out of the coating.
