Hell no. It is hard as it is for new players to catch up. I remember when i first entered w5 it took me months to even unlock all portals. Now that i have multikill in most of my chars makes it way easier to unlock portals for my weakest characters
#deactivating multikill in new released worlds for a while.

Also farming 100x rares without multikill for weapon upgrade takes 1-2 weeks per character which is hella grindy.
