here are some tips on feedback to avoid 'instantly upsetting' people, but make your point heard:

  • be respectful in your wording; towards the dev, other players and aspects of the game that are dear to people. dont hesitate to criticize anything tho, just instead of saying "this sucks" say something in the spirit of "this could be a better experience for me if" :)
  • write from your personal perspective; like "for me", "to me", "i feel that", "it would help me that" instead of <it should>. your feelings are valid and subjective, no one else can tell you how you feel about something and it gives people perspective to understand your point of view
  • be open like here that you feel insecure about peoples reaction, most people are kindhearted and will adapt to your needs

and the most important: worst thing to happen is someone disagrees with a suggestion you make and sais or reacts with a 'no'. and thats it :D they react to an idea, not to you as a person. people will still respect and like you even if they disagree with one of your opinions.
