#Bug fixes should be a bigger priority (my opinion)

the amount of bugs and instability really hold this game back and scare away new players. i tried getting two friends to play, and they loved the game, but they both stopped playing after about two hours because of all the bugs, crashes and the lack of polish in the starting zones.

here are some issues they encountered on pc within those few hours using keyboard+mouse (might be helpful idk):

creating accounts using web browser doesn't work, they both had to use the steam client

opening an interface using a keyboard stops player movement

sooooo many game crashes

movement using a keyboard is very buggy/janky in certain places

typing in game is insanely janky and slow. also holding shift to capitalize letters doesn't work if you type quickly

unclear quest text

can't click through the quest tracker

lack of detail on tooltips/lack of tooltips in general (spells don't show mana cost etc etc)

disclaimer: my opinion/personal experience

tldr the unpolished/buggy/unstable experience really holds back this otherwise great game

tbh, if the bugs aren't game breaking I can see why this isn't a priority but some on there I can agree on like the chat system, and some changes to how you can move with keyboard mouse

#

havent seen much tho. I gotta say I play on a low end device and I just accept some issues lol

the only bug that i've encountered that really matter been the random crash once in a while after a new patch and i play only on pc so /shrug

you can consistently recreate most of these bugs/issues if you play using keyboard+mouse.

a few examples:
opening an interface using a keyboard while moving will make your character stop. click a tree, open your inventory while running there and you'll stop. it feels janky if you're used to keyboard games.

keyboard movement stops working completely while standing on efaunt's head

keyboard controls randomly get inverted while fighting efaunt on the left side

it's not "gamebreaking" but it makes the game feel very janky, and i've seen it scare away new players first hand

part of the problem with that is kb+mouse is someting relativly recent, so most player that been hre for long time are used to simply using mouse.

Thus we dont see those bugs, if some are indeed bug and just not something that supposed to happen when moving using keyboard

I think I've had the game crash maybe once? and that was because I was doing ML training on my GPU while playing. playing through steam almost exclusively.
Haven't seen much in the way of bugs either. theres a few slightly annoying UI issues but nothing that I would call a bug. though I have seen plenty of posts about people experiencing bugs.

unclear quest test is kind of part of the experience IMO. a lot of it is memey and funny, so I honestly appreciate it most of the time. though there have been a couple quests that took me longer than I'd like to figure out what needed to be done.

M&K control is new and I honestly still dont use it.

maybe I've been really lucky. idk.
