Marketing can be funny like that though. If something doesn’t sell that can be the reason for upping the price, it helps recoup the losses from something sitting on the shelf for a long time. Depending on the thing, video games tend to go on sale because the people who made it want something back from their investment. Food gos on sale because it can go off. But nitro doesn’t have the need to pay off investors so much so it can probably throw out a line and see who bites.
I saw a lot of this when I worked in a hardware shop and I was like this crap stays here for ages why don’t we put it on sale and get rid of it but my boss said that’s why you put it up higher to make up for the delay.
Idk if that’s the case here but it could be that way. Or maybe it’s just digital gouging, like how crappy apps gouge for poker machine draws in their flashy games.
