no its about levelled echoes, im not in game now so if anyone can test this:
the cost of levelling echoes is based on how much exp you feed it.
the cost is the same if you feed 20k exp of pots or 20k exp from a levelled echo
but if you destroy the levelled echo, it refunds you the partial exp and tuners as usual but also a bit of cash

nothing amazing but could save some money in the early game with low funds, not sure about the validity

a crit wep always wins

the only exception is when the passive is mostly useless

and theres a wep with a fully useful passive

instead

like in cal's case the standard 5* is just as good as jiyan wep for him cause he cant make use of the heavy atk boost passive and cause the standard 5* description is wrong bc it's actually 3 stacks and thats a whooping 21% dmg boost

meanwhile the 5* rectifier is just 16% dmg boost altogether and ONLY to basic attacks, not her skill or heavy

yinlin wep is a 12% boost to ALL damage baseline unconditionally PLUS it being a crit wep PLUS providing at least 24% atk boost to encore (if we assume she cant use the last part of the passive, but if she can it's 36%)

like there's just no contest here lol

honestly even if yinlin wep wasnt a crit wep the passive is already better than cosmic's

this was rivenous' calc

it's a considerable increase on top of helping you stabilizing your cv ratio

so to tldr, yinlin wep:

• crit wep to help balance your cv
• 12% universal dmg boost vs 16% basic atk boost
• still has 24% atk boost on top of being a crit wep
• and most importantly lets you pick the best standard 5* which is the sword (or the gun), and you potentially will need 2 of the sword (cuz sanhua is a mainstay and hmc+danjin is a very common combo)
