It must be encoding/pulling strings in a locale-specific manner.

@Chaos_World_300 I found the issue, the game uses some conversion mechanisms to convert UTF-8 to Shift-JIS, but instead of asking for Shift-JIS, it uses the system's locale. It's easily fixed by hooking some functions. I made a fix, just 2 files and it's good to go:
