AL used to feel like it had gameplay initially on launch, that you actively controlled your ships and dodged fire. But now....the gameplay and balance is mainly auto battle

so, it went to no gameplay

it's kind of pointless to try to move your ships much when eventually there's just too much projectiles to even bother dodging. And the controls etc aren't exactly designed for precise movement like in a bullet hell game
