I’m not from China, but I’m very in touch with the CN fans as Chinese is also my primary language. So for us a big reason for why it’s so popular in Chinese speaking circles is that the whole plot and design of MyGO and Mujica is very similar to the generic tv shows that aired in Chinese Channels, usually at 8 pm, hence it’s called “八点档” or eight o’clock shows in English. Such shows usually depicts complex relationships between family or co workers, and as example the part where Soyo deceives Anon to get Sakiko back and later the whole aunt niece relationship stuff also resonates with the themes in those shows.

It's essentially Loop Hero, and that game was always about pushing risk vs reward, while reaching a benchmark to be able to beat the end boss of the stage.
It's just that here, you don't exactly scale operators throughout the run, only inbetween them.
But yeah, it does feel like you need a lot of AoE.

She disappeared and left my roster, yet I can still see that I should have her since I can’t pick her from the targeted appointment. I got Zuo Le from the random apppintment and then recruited him as a support so I could use his module since I don’t own him
