And just switch your diff to Peaceful

Then, when you think you got enough woods, start looping your save data, use all the woods to craft glowstick every run (which is unlocked at HQ level 3)

±600 woods and HQ level 3 gave me 4k-4,1k per loop

Also gathering rocks when you unlock them will be a great help
Since then you can craft the auto machine to farm more woods
