30G will give you the best quality moves, speed typically takes a small hit the larger the hash is, but the better move finding makes up

Hi,

does a current recommendation table (search depth range => hash size) maybe exist somewhere?

E.g. for:
Depth 41 - 50
Depth 51 - 60
Depth 61 - 70
Depth 71 - 80

(I analyze everything that's not crystal clear to at least to 41, because of PV stability and some pretty bad surprises below that. Would like to increase to 61 - 70 for some critical opening and middlegame lines to grind through most of the complications.)

Almost always as much memory as your system can offer.

our rule of thumb is that if hashfull > 30%, Elo improvements can be obtained by increasing hash.

... but may I ask why if ~ 70 % of the hash is still unused / free? Just thought about it. 😅
(Willing to read documentation if exists, of course)
