Everything can be automated, right down to procedural generation of entire songs (in a given style). I've started working on this. It's going to take years. But it can be built in discrete components that function on their own.
What would you find most useful out of the following? (And do you already have anything like this and if so, is it good / what's it missing)
-Drum groove generator (MIDI output, drop it into your DAW). Intended to be capable of the range of variation heard within future bass, it should be able to do everything from pop/rock, techno, DnB, trap, Jersey, house, with selectable random variation at different timescales (whole song, section, phrase, bar, single beat)
-Chord progression generator (MIDI output for bass and several synths). Achieve more color and spice. Microtonal capable.
-Melody generator (MIDI and VSQX output for vocaloid! gibberish random lyrics!) This is tricky one that really needs an enormous amount of analysis to get right for just a single style of music, to capture the flavor and not get repetitive nor too random. I would be focusing on a kawaii future bass style as well as a bebop jazz style. Microtonal capable probably.
