I think a lot of percussion and Dubstep would make this song come together.

Because this song seems pretty peaceful. I'm trying to go for like a "Ghost - Camellia" if that's what you want.

I think that you are going in the right direction, but that seems like something for the last part. If it had more melody and chords, it would be a very nice end result. I was thinking that you could make the drums at a slower pace kind of like this. You can mess around with the clicks (hi-hats) but everything else should stay about the same if you want to achieve that "first-drop" effect. Because at the first drop, you don't want to let out all the energy out or else there is no suspense.
