the first example of it i could find
I also wanna know how to make this kinda stuff
it's in the first drop
I wanna make Ata - Euphoria type stuff
that's the other type of hitech
ah
I don't know how to make hi-tech
You'll need a lot of things
A main bass line that's devised into three things:
A sub bass
A highpassed hi-tech grit bass
Another highpassed hi-tech grit bass
Get some chords and have them stab every once in a while
keep a reoccurring melody
And then just go crazy with smaller fills and FX
If it comes down to it you can add vocals on top too
Just fuck around
Hi-tech is a fun genre
Make sure it's around 145-160
I like to do my hi-tech in 147/148
ableton based
ableton based
ableton is probably the best DAW out there atm
I guess dubstep growls but without the growl part
Also distorted saw wave
oh thats my specialty of clipping shit for no reason
got it lol
man lets see if i can make muffled hi tech
(cuz snes)
Lol ok
idk why i ahve to get my hopes up on this thing
time to put my expectations into the ground
doesn't really sound like hi-tech at all though
But I agree with your comments on how to make it
there's also a few certain rhythms that go again in hi-tech
they focus on syncopation
acid leads are also common
Well that’s just me messing around with the general idea
I guess
It has the elements of hi-tech it’s just a bit more flow-y
it doesn't really have a lot of hi-tech elements imo, but the beat I guess
Bass
the bass just sounds like a common gritty bassline
Okay but why do genres even really matter
I explained it and said to just experiment and have fun
oh yeah, I mean I didn't mean to sound rude or anything
:/ no worries just came off a bit wrong there
I just don't think that song of yours really helps him with what he was looking for
Fair enough
It's Christmas morning and the ghosts are waking up... It's time to freakin' party!!! Let's start movin' and groovin' and dancin' till the day is over!
Merry Christmas everyone!
I had a ton of fun making this and I feel like I've improved a ton at music thanks to it, funny enough though I made this in a rush, started it on the 21st and f...
I believe this might be a bit more help?
think he was asking more like this https://youtu.be/GOwlK4Kf3TE?t=220

acid leads are created by taking a saw wave with a low pass filter and high resonance and then automating it to go down with a plucky envelope and most of them have quite a bit of distortion but they can be clean sounding as well
^
303s (what acids are also called) are basically just distorted lowpass saw with high as shit resonance
they are based on how the roland tb-303 make bass (thats where it gets its name)
If you don't mind watching a long live stream, while it won't be exactly what you're looking for, it is nice to see the process of it being made.
I feel like making hi-tech for some reason :D
