The other adventure skills are normally easy enough to get, probably just talk to a leader, probably your group leader (like the main one) will be best, then, just doccuemnt everything you do and you should be able to get more

what work did you do?
At it wasn’t really work experience more TY experience
BUT
All sorts really
They took us round to all the different ‘departments’ e.g. flight school, 3 ops (helis), ATC, firefighters
Had a few different briefings and activities on things on recruitment/careers and team building etc etc
Got to have a little mess around with the small arms (not actually shooting them)
First aid training, SERE (basically backwoods but fancy), map reading
On the last day we got to go up in an AW139
Like if you haven’t done TY yet
And this is coming from a spirit of TY winner himself
So yk I know what I’m on about
Do a couple weeks of actual work experience you could get a job out of
But try and get weeks like this as well
Ik the guards also have a decent programme and I did a physics course in DCU too
