I like the thermometer for finding the ghost room. The ghost room will have a temperature drop.

Alternatively you could ask the oujia board or the mirror to find it ( for oujia board the question is where are you and tells current position which isn't guaranteed to be favorite room ) these both use a lot of sanity

In general, listen for things being touched or thrown, track them down with the EMF, look for the coldest room

temps are a function of what the ambient temp is and how much time the ghost spends in the room

The one weird exception is trapping the ghost with the monkey paw that needs to be prevented the same way a cursed hunt is but it isn’t one itself, but some aspect of it is likely bugged lol.

Hey so I was just on Camp Woodwind and I had the "Clense the area" objective and I only got it done when I burned the Incense right in front of the barrels to the right when you walk in...What area is that? Cause I was getting activity within the campfire, then by the benches, I thought it was The Twins but it ended up being The Spirit. I know they roam but what area where I burned the incense is that?

I've gone off about CWW from the start, it's very clear that it was a rushed map (admission from CJ iirc) Clear things to improve

• Change the layout (More LoS blockers, better to get to hiding spots)
• Make clearer room boundaries (it's currently marked by the fairy lights, tents and bathrooms)
• Move the benches somewhere else

Like Maple, for me Point Hopes biggest issue is a technical one involving the floors. The sounds are weird throughout the map, and you can have a ghost you don't hear at all suddenly in your face.

To counter Stone point slightly, all ghosts are more active, and thus have a higher chance of doing their ability, at lower sanity, so it's not so cut and dried. You are ofc risking that it will just normal hunt. I got mine doing 0 sanity runs.
