Just find a hiding spot near to the ghost room. You don't have to get that close if you can be a little patient.

Set up at hiding with at least two smudges and your camera. If the ghost comes near you within the last ~15 seconds of the hunt, call it over using your radio/voice/any other electronic. Then when it comes near, smudge it, take your pictures, smudge again, and hide. Bringing more smudges means you get more of a safety buffer.

You'll have to make sure the ghost can't see your hiding spot after you smudge it, since you're using tier 3 smudges, the ghost will be frozen in place instead of getting to wander away

That's a looping thing, where you ring a ghost around a prop. It's worth practicing in the future but right now I'd focus on actually hiding or avoiding hunts entirely by staying in the light
